While they are not new to the family by any means, as EcothermSA has been a part of the Blackheath footprint for quite a while; it is still wonderful to have such a green, clean environmental machine with us.
If you are not already aware, EcothermSA manufactures geysers – Duratherm and Solartherm. Duratherm geysers have a special PEX lining which prevents corrosion – meaning you have to maintain and replace the unit far less. The Solartherm are solar-powered geysers which heat the water by running it through the solar panels – it is simple and cost-effective.
EcothermSA, is determined to make not only its products as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible, but also their premises. A conversation with managing director, Ferdinand de Klerk, revealed a set of plans to refurbish their building by adding a second story and upgrading their reception area whilst designing a green space at the entrance to their property. This will be the welcome potential customers and learners will receive when visiting the premises to acquire knowledge about EcothermSA’s products. The intention is to modernise the facility to include a showroom with working models of their geysers, offering schools and the general public the opportunity to learn exactly how these systems function and benefit the environment.
